Ghostwriting
Ghostwriting is often viewed as a hands-off path for aspiring authors. In reality, it's an in-depth, long-term collaboration requiring your commitment and continual input. You will be deeply involved in the process.
Here's my bonafide 8-step ghostwriting process.1. Free Concept ConsultationOn a 30-minute call, we pressure-test your book idea. Is it viable? Is the premise specific enough? Does it cover too much material, or perhaps not enough? What would it take to bring it to life? I’ll give you my professional verdict on whether your concept is book-ready and if my ghostwriting process is right for you.2. Book Development BlueprintOnce we've determined you're a great fit for my ghostwriting package, we start co-creating your Book Development Blueprint. We’ll discuss your target audience, ROI goals, desired publishing path, and other essential details. We’ll also co-create your table of contents and a structured chapter outline.3. Guided Content InterviewsWith a concrete blueprint in hand, I guide you through a series of recorded, 1-on-1 interviews to gather your best material for each chapter. I’ll convert the audio clips into transcripts—the basis of your manuscript’s first draft. 4. Voice Alignment WorkshopsWith the material we’ve gathered for your book’s first chapter, we workshop the target voice, tone, and style for your manuscript’s prose. This helps us ensure your book sounds like you and nails the emotional impact you want to make. Your feedback creates the standard for the remaining chapters.5. First Draft WritingUsing the materials we’ve co-created so far (your Book Development Blueprint, chapter outline, interview transcripts, and voice-alignment model) I write the first draft of your manuscript. All you have to do is wait.6. Manuscript RevisionsOver the course of several rounds of editing and proofreading, we refine and polish your manuscript until it’s ready for publication. 7. IP Rights Sign-OffI officially sign off all rights to any intellectual property contained within, or related to, your manuscript. You’re officially ready to publish.8. Publishing Tips & ReferralsWhether you choose the independent, hybrid, or traditional publishing route, I can point you in the right direction. You'll leave with a handful of tips, options, and referrals to guide your way.

No. The total project fee is broken down into installments that are scheduled to align with major deliverables.
Most ghostwriting projects take six to nine months to complete. The exact timeline will vary depending on your manuscript's individual scope. Book coaching projects depend largely on how fast you write your first draft and must be completed within 12 months.
All calls are conducted online and recorded via Zoom.
Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. Invoices will be sent to your email address with step-by-step instructions to make payments easy.
A word-overage charge of $300 per 1,000 words will be added to your final invoice. If you anticipate needing a considerably longer manuscript, we can discuss working this into the original scope of your contract.
All out-of-scope work will be added to the following invoice at an hourly rate of $150.

It's unlikely, unfortunately. People make very little profit off book sales and royalties these days. Most authors publish their books as part of a larger brand strategy that generates income in other ways. I can help you brainstorm.
Yes. I'm open to traveling for in-person collaboration, especially during the interview phase. Authors must cover all travel and accommodation expenses in addition to hours worked. Please let me know if you're interested in meeting in person at the outset of your project so I can include it in your scope.
If you need to pause the project, a monthly retainer fee of $5,000 must be paid to keep the project active. If you choose to stop the project altogether, future availability can't be guaranteed once you're ready to restart.
Not if you don't want to. You're the author and your book is your intellectual property upon completion of the project.
All rights to your book's intellectual property are transferred to you at the end of the project after the final payment has been made.
If more than 10% of the first draft needs a complete rewrite, a renegotiation of scope will be needed.
Yes, this is available as an add-on charge. Please inquire at the start of your project.
